Since the snow is beginning to melt, I thought it would be appropriate to end the "Frost Yourself Picture Contest"! After going through the ratings under the comment portions of each picture, the following people are officially the picture contest WINNERS:

speaking out for human rights

Amnesty International Film Festival 2006

Description: This film festival shows various human rights related films made by people from all over the world. These powerful films are shown to raise awareness and to encourage people to translate what they have seen into meaningful action. This year marks our fourth annual human rights film festival in Victoria.

They have speakers come in to briefly talk about the issues portrayed in the films, and this really gives a human element to the movie and makes it all the more powerful.
